Live Mixes on Vinyl
As of 2024, I’ve been doing monthly sets at Bathtub Gin using strictly vinyl and playing mostly disco, soul and funk. Going back to a form of DJing so many years after I started feels incredibly refreshing and inspiring. I learned to DJ on vinyl and of course moved to the same way we DJ now with a computer as the technology quickly progressed. But there is something completely magical in holding a record and being able control it in real time. I recorded two sets from the past year. A recording that you can listen to below. I love how the recording captures the depth and the feel of the sound and I can’t wait to share more sets on my blog here.
